Le festival des Rendez-vous de l’histoire organise pour la quatrième année consécutive un événement de création de jeux vidéo aussi appelée « Game Jam ». Cette année la Game Jam des Rendez-vous de l’histoire se réinvente et lance un défi aux enseignants : transformer des chapitres d’histoire en jeux vidéo. Accompagnés d’une équipe de développeurs, de game designer, de sound designer etc. ils auront 48 heures pour créer des jeux utilisables en classe et utiles à l’enseignement des programmes.

Cet événement insolite, organisé par l’association "La Science entre en jeu", sur une idée des Clionautes, se tiendra du 26 au 28 septembre 2025.

My university has created a short video in which I present my PhD dissertation (after four years, I can finally explain it in three sentences 😎) and the video game based on this thesis that we developed in 48h ( dawnfj.itch.io/les-chroniqu... ).

Pitch: ‘Les Chroniques d'Ana’ (find the pun) is a hunt for anachronisms in a historical reconstruction of ‘Vieux Paris’. Explore a 15th-century printing workshop and identify all the objects that seem out of time, mistakenly introduced by the attraction's entrepreneurs.

🎮 Four months ago, as part of the Game Jam of @rdvhistoire.bsky.social, we developed in 48 hours a video game based on my doctoral thesis on fin-de-siècle historical reconstructions, with a team of programmers, game designers and graphic designers.
