Truly hilarious quote in this Law360 article:

"A California federal judge quickly narrowed a pool of 92 prospective jurors Thursday in a class action against Elon Musk as Musk's attorney lamented there are 'so many people who hate him so much.'"

Fred T. Korematsu was a Civil Rights activist who protested the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II by becoming a fugitive. His bravery is particularly resonant today.

Ella Baker believed in grassroots organizing and direct action as an answer to fear, isolation, and intellectual detachment. That belief is exceptionally relevant today.

Today, we honor her memory.

In the 1960s and '70s, the city of Portland seized and destroyed homes in the neighborhood of Central Albina, a thriving Black community, under the guise of "urban renewal".

This case, brought by twenty-six Black survivors and descendants of families whose homes were destroyed, settled this June.

During federal shutdowns, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is refusing to pay out full SNAP benefits, jeopardizing access to food for tens of millions of low-income households.

We've sued to challenge this practice.
