Cadillac F1 Team has named their first ever F1 chassis MAC-26.

The chassis name recognizes and honours 1978 Formula 1 World Champion Mario Andretti

Andretti’s birthday is February 28th when he will turn 86!

Andrea Stella picking up right where he left off! Everything in alignment, and extremely well organized!

With just over two hours left in the final day of testing Aston Martin has said that they have completed their running for today that brings to a conclusion their week 2 of Bahrain testing.
The teams run plan for today was very limited due to a shortage of power unit parts.

Charles Leclerc lead the way in the Ferrari, between him and the Haas (that is running Ferrari power) completed 162 laps!

DAY 2 OF F1 TESTING DONE!

Since then, we have been carrying out simulations on the test bench in HRC Sakura. Due to this and a shortage of power unit parts, we have adapted today's run plan to be very limited and consist only of short stints.”

In regards to Fernando Alonso’s last run during yesterday’s PM session where the car came to a stop:

“Our last run with Fernando Alonso yesterday showed a battery-related issue that impacted our test plan with the Aston Martin.

Morning session is done
Norris setting a solid time early in the session while Verstappen stopped with about 40 minutes left in the session.

As the AM testing comes to a close you will see first a formation lap, that will then be followed by another standing start. The FIA has informed us that there will be another one of these held at the end of the PM session

Excited to share that I’ve received my first ever permanent media credentials with F1!

It’s something i’ve been working towards for a long time and happy to share that i’ve ticked that box!
