🏆We got Belém Action Mechanism for Global Just Transition - a big victory!
But:
❌No justice package
❌No roadmap to transition away from fossil fuels
❌Weak adaptation finance
❌No credible response to NDC ambition gap
❌‘Shuttle diplomacy’ & lack of transparent updates
No #consensus reached at #COP30 in Belém about including the proper words to guide the #roadmap for a #justtransitionaway from #fossilfuels

Day 4 #COP30 I went to the #greenzone which is open to all with talks about the role of women and female leadership for the #justtransition from the ministry of #women. Visibility and support for those who lost stewardship #wellbeing for the planet and people

Day 4 at #COP30 is in the light of Brazils Dia da Consciência Negra.
The presidency consultation on the enhanced engagement of local communities took place - funding & aknowledgement indigenous peoples across the globe & people of African descent remain crucial

Live - As the presidency of #COP30 said - let’s celerbrate the #Amazônia and the #nature and speak up at the high level event on accelerating #climateaction thematising the action agenda as this COP that was framed as implementation, forest and ocean COP.
