Police forces across the U.K. regularly bar football fans of a wide variety of clubs from attending some away matches when police have reason to believe allowing fans to attend may pose a risk to public safety. That’s a decision for the police and should have been the end of the matter.

Watching the Charlie Kirk memorial rally I can’t help but wonder if people on the left would be so prone to infighting if they actually tuned in to coverage of these events.

Political violence must be condemned in all its forms.

True political violence is overseeing a propaganda machine that whips up millions into hateful, menacing rage against innocent people.

That kind of political violence is far more insidious and destructive than any one person with a gun.

eg - the legend that Godwinson rode up before the battle and offered Hardrada “7ft of England ground, as he is taller than most men”

Or the single Norwegian warrior who held the bridge against the Saxon army

Both apocryphal but would make for great drama. Shame.

Watching #kingandconquerer and enjoying it but was disappointed at the Battle of Stamford Bridge being glossed over.

There are very cool moments associated with that battle which probably didn’t happen, but could have made for awesome dramatic scenes
