Research finds insecticide common in shallow ground water across Minnesota New research found widespread contamination by neonicotinoid insecticides in shallow groundwater across Minnesota. The neurotoxic chemicals are the mostly widely used class of insecticide in the U.S.

We see the exact same thing in Iowa. Neonicotinoids don’t stay on seeds…they wash away and we find them in just about every water sample we collect. Great and important work by @billarnold.bsky.social and his team at Minnesota.
