I want to give a perspective on #RevPit sub numbers though.

Try to avoid the temptation to gauge odds.

This isn’t a lottery. It’s a methodical process that assesses many layers of each ms to determine the benefit and suitability for this particular medium 4/

That is to say, the questions I’m generally trying to answer for #RevPit subs are:

1. Do I have a clear plan for how to help this ms?
2. Is it something we can accomplish in the time we have?
3. How confident am I the writer will agree (and not feel pressured)?

Oh and tips on narrowing #RevPit editors!

Read the entirety of the MSWLs carefully + don’t think your story will be an exception. I only auto-DQ subs that aren’t on my MSWL.

Beyond that, all of our editors are amazing. There is no *wrong* choice. Do your best to narrow + then go with your gut

Don't forget to add songs to the #RevPit playlist! (you don't need to be planning on subbing to me). Add a couple of songs that remind you of your MS or that you like to listen to while writing! I listen while I'm reading subs and I find so much great music this way.
