Maybe that's why I like him so much? I think he has so much untapped potential, you can really do a lot more with a clone of Optimus and Megatron than one chapter of an obscure manga barely anyone has read.

Chris Cocks is more of a video game guy than a toy guy, so he's been pumping money into WOTC like crazy, my interpretation was that Power Rangers was like a sacrificial lamb, and then they stopped co-financing movies as the next step

At the moment it looks like Disney+ is filming a new series by the Percy Jackson showrunners starting in January so hopefully things will improve there.

It's nice that Re-Ignition is indeed getting Power Rangers on shelves again, but the fact the tie-in series is just MMPR again, (supposedly) remastered with AI upscaling and adding YouTube Shorts that give you information you would already know by watching the dang show... Says a lot.
