Protect the coast we love from tankers! | Sierra Club BC Tell Prime Minister Carney you say no to dirty oil and yes to clean energy that doesn’t endanger the coast that so many fought to protect.

Concerns are rising over a zombie pipeline & tanker proposal—rebranded as a “Project of National Interest” (PONI). It's not viable. Just another attempt to revive a bad idea and force risky projects onto BC lands and waters.

⚡️Tell @davidebybc.bsky.social: no new pipelines in BC. #bcpoli

Canada has the money. But it's not being spent on the real emergency.

A climate plan that includes fracking? Yeah, that doesn’t sound right.

The B.C. government just released its new climate plan. And even they admit it won’t meet the province’s 2030 emissions targets. We’re in a climate emergency. We need real action.

Canada’s first LNG export is historic—for all the wrong reasons.

As activist @janellelapointe.bsky.social explains, Canada’s LNG push will wreck the planet, sideline Indigenous peoples, and enrich Big Oil.

I was born in Montreal because my parents found sanctuary after my father refused to serve in the U.S.'s unjust war in Vietnam.

Many of us who live here do so because others fought for their right to similar refuge.

Refuge isn't the solution to genocide. But these cases are urgent nonetheless.

Canada needs to follow through on its promise to help people in Gaza Ottawa’s ‘special measures’ visa program for Gaza has so far proved to be little more than a cruel taunt

Canada says it's a refuge. It has dangled only false hopes to Palestinians seeking to study here after Israel bombed their universities, or who have applied to be reunited with family.

Carney says he wants to build, build, build. Meanwhile, Canadians (youth in particular) are experiencing an unemployment crisis.
