Been a fan since I was in grade school. You and John helped get me emotionally through high school, college, grad school, and a doctoral program. Now I’m a high school teacher. I’m hoping this place can be what we all hoped social media could be a decade ago

Nature has taken my childhood home back. First time I’ve seen it in years

I was homeschooled k-12 in a highly conservative religious prepper community. My education was basically just a mix of the Book of Revalation and Rush Limbaugh. I’m a public school teacher now. I can honestly say this type of non-education is way too common. I feel for the kids who are left behind.

One of my students is knocking every last assignment out of the park so hard, I want to give a Paul Hollywood-style handshake after every submission and presentation! Great way to end the semester!

Finished my DMA program three years ago and have been teaching high school ever since. It maybe wouldn’t matter if I forgot how to play at that level. But now that I don’t HAVE to, I finally kind of want to. It’s weird
