The thrift shop was selling this big honker dirt cheap as a “decoration,” since the crank connector was broken.

It’s really the only real damage, someone took great care of this machine for a long time - I’m eager to finish the restoration and make her sing again!

I suppose it’s time to add a pair of calipers to my toolbox 😅

I am thisclose to getting the victrola working again, but I bought the wrong size replacement arm and all the teflon tape in the world couldn’t fix it.

However, it held long enough so I could crank it and hear sound, so I’m
feeling hopeful.
