The past 2 years have been tough for young workers due to the weak hiring environment.

1/ Things are particularly rough for people with BAs in their early 20s, looking for a foothold on the career ladder - their unemployment rate has averaged 6.6% over the past year (2015-esque)

Imagine.

Education delivers creative, thoughtful citizenry.

Health systems deliver health.

Managed markets deliver opportunity & prosperity.

Media deliver truth.

Courts deliver justice.

Elected officials deliver progress.

You may say I'm a dreamer. I'm not the only one.

I don’t want anybody to be poor. I’ve been poor. But we should remember that there is a cost to positioning schools solely as agents of economic mobility. We need to ask ourselves: When we force schools to try to solve the problem of poverty, what are we not allowing them to do?
