Thankfully he could trail his hands across the real thing, could revel in how it felt to have that touch returned, to know the feeling of holding a person close while every kiss felt like it could be your last. The mask wasn't his to wear but he fit it perfectly, so many flowers blooming in his lungs he wondered if they'd push it off on their own.

A short fic I wrote to take a break from all my long WIPs and test out Ellipsus. The lightest of angst for my dumbest rarepair.
