and i get it! she laughs too loud, makes funny voices, makes up songs while waiting for service, likely got shushed a lot in her earlier years of dating and prefer to be her full self alone to being half herself partnered.

Im my fullest silly self alone, and prefer it.

I think folks mistook her "choiceful solitude" to mean she prefers a single life when the "choiceful" part was her choosing to be uncompromising about the way she wants to live and express herself. She chooses solitude over shrinking, but grieves the fact that she has to make that choice.

What ppl want from Tracee they are more likely to get from Sanaa. They want a magnetic, dominating woman who chooses lovers and travels to deeply experience pleasure.

Tracee is a goofy woman who wears the entirety of herself on her sleeve and travels to tuck it back in when it's gotten too exposed

I think it's SUPER-important to show a woman like her ho is basically making a beautiful life with the cards she was dealt, despite wanting a different set of cards.

some of us live with daily grief and make a beautiful life anyway.
