Guys, I literally didn’t know what to think. This was the first time I saw someone and thought “There’s something about that man” LOL

I knew they were safe, that they could be trusted, and that I wanted to be them. I was gay for a man that was a woman. And I wanted to be them either way.

As a kid I saw OoT Impa and it awakened a lot in my spirit.

Impa continues to be hot with every iteration.

And btw this isn’t a “the west has fallen” sentiment. Clearly. Don’t twist this.

This is something I’m constantly thinking!!! Like how can you as an artist do all of these interesting ideas and do all of this unique stuff then just put Anime Person #3 in it. Mind boggling.

To each their own

And I’m talking late 90s and on anime. That’s how specific you can be. People don’t even emulate the wider range that anime and manga have. It’s just very clear that we are trapped in an anime echo chamber. How to draw tutorials are more “how to draw anime faces” and not even on purpose.

It’s just my opinion of course. But 90% or MORE of art I see is just people drawn in anime styles.

We have to find new ways to draw people stylistically I’m so sick of seeing anime everywhere.

Like with marvel rivals, my opinion is obviously that there’s nothing wrong with big buff women. But it’s a little eye brow raising when you can see through the reasoning behind these design decisions.

I’m now convinced Overwatch character designers have a very strict checklist to meet with new characters now.

I think, just like marvel rivals, new characters are only meant to farm heart eyes more than be interesting.
