For anyone interested in the history of reparations, broadly conceived, please consider attending this upcoming one-day symposium at Fresno State on Thursday, April 10th, 2025 from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the @fresnostatelibrary.bsky.social (Room 2206).

The Teach-In portion will be about 20 minutes. Dr. Clune will briefly explain the history of nuclear bombs, current challenges, and what folks can do if they want to get involved. The Die-In portion will be a 10-minute chance for quiet reflection.

Dr. Lori Clune, along with a few other COSS faculty members, will be hosting a Nuclear War Teach-In/Die-In at noon on Friday, March 28th in the Social Science Quad (see the attached flier).

I wrote a book on the execution of the Rosenbergs for Cold War spying – and a recently declassified document has convinced me that Ethel was innocent Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed in 1953 for conspiring with the Soviets. A newly declassified memo debunks the government’s case against Ethel, and her sons want their mother exonerated.
