The past months were so busy to me & Midgard has been the only thing I have been drawing for since I don't have time to do serious writing anyway.
On a good note, taking a break might make the whole project feel fresh again.

Yeah its definitely easier to split the work.
For me, my main issue is time. I'm someone who tends to sit down and work for days or weeks on one thing, cuz when I break out of my focus I lose momentum.
With how crazy work has been now, I don't have the time to "get into it" so I lost touch with 1/2

made a 220+ pages book just for my friends with just the collected content from our sessions, which might be a way too elaborate shitpost, yes – yet its more than I drew during the rest of 2025 where I was so artblocked for my own stuff out of feeling blocked over not having a finished script 7/8

Which is something I missed. No socmed, no alorithms, no numbers. Just making silly art of silly fictional stuff you share with a select group of people.
Idk, I have just been in a weird place with art. Online it might look like I'm not drawing at all, but a few ship pieces, but I actually 6/8

Idk where I'm going with this. I'm just saying that these characters aren't dead, yet I really enjoy my current break from them and drawing ttrpg shitposts has invigorated my joy for drawing. It reminds me of the good old days of just drawing for your friends in school or DA & having a good time 5/8

I am sure I am not the only one with this issue, plus, making a long comic story all by yourself is a huge task, especially when you aren't even getting paid for it and have more important things to upkeep in life rn. I keep telling myself that the project won't "run away" and I can get back to 3/8

I still love those characters and I wanna eventually get their story down on paper, but script is tough and whenever I feel like I get super into it, I get extremely busy and lose momentum. Then I get back to it after weeks and I have no idea where the hell I even went with this lol 2/8

❌ Added personal art rant:
A reason I barely draw illustrations of my OCs anymore is that it simply bores me, as I'd rather do comics/tell stories. That's why I have been having fun with the ttrpg stuff. Its all there, it needs no script and I can just get to draw little dumb comic strips.
