Unhappy Birthday to Me    It’s important to share, or so I’ve been taught,  to show kindness to others, to be a good sport.  But all of those teachings have taken a bump –  for I share my birthday with Donald Trump.    For years I knew not of this dark, dreadful fate,  and with ignorant bliss I honoured the date –  but then it got hijacked, sullied, gazumped  by a self-serving bigot, a foul gibberlump.     With him, I would share an infectious disease,  a mouldy bread roll, an infestation of fleas,  a romantic weekend at a toxic waste dump – but please, not my birthday, Mr. Tangerine Chump.    Alternative dates he’s welcome to try –   12th Febtember, 33rd July. But 14th June? In a lake, take a jump and find a new date, you deranged sewage pump.  Brian Bilston

When De Zerbi and Groß left, and we appointed a manager I'd never heard of, I would have very happily taken 8th place. I've had my doubts along the way, but 61 points with a young squad and multiple injuries is an impressive return. Up The Albion! #bhafc

The self-belief amongst the team visibly grew after a shaky start. It was great to see them respond positively to going behind twice.

Impossible to overstate the damage done to the education of our children by SATs. Year Six used to be the crowning glory of primary education. Now it's just an incessant 'how to pass a test' workshop. The results provide nothing that teachers don't already know.

My first time in there yesterday. I was impressed. We've come a long way.

Main takeaway from this morning's #parkrun was that I loved it.

One of my hopes, in '97 and '24, was that a Labour govt would reform Ofsted. They didn't. I see no reason why I would vote Labour again.
