I just finished my Art Fight portfolio. I feel like I’ve earned a chance to relax and recharge my social battery, but lately it feels like I’m only able to get that battery up to 10% before someone asks to hang out or game with them when I don’t have the mental capacity to commit to that…

I need some time to myself so I can pick myself back up, but it seems there’s someone who drags me away from picking up the pieces. In turn, I feel broken and I feel like I’m losing myself. So long as there’s someone who takes me away from what’s left of me behind, I’m never gonna be 100% myself…

Just got off the phone with my mom. I’m still disheartened to hear her refusal to accept me as her transgender daughter. I know that they don’t want to accept my change in present day, but rather embrace who I was in the past. It breaks my heart because I worked so hard to escape the past and pain

Update: I woke up and both internet and power were restored again! I’m glad I got both utilities back, but my goodness losing both is a feeling that I’ve had before a couple years ago and still haven’t gotten used to.

Grrrr!!! It’s been 3 days since the Tornado Watch, and of course it had to knock down a power line in our area, beridding us of power and internet. Sure we have backup generators and mobile hotspots, but depending on those makes me feel like I’m swimming in an ocean and trying not to drown…
