A 3 y/o boy wandered off yesterday at a youth baseball tournament. The only reason I know is because I was in the concession line when the mom patiently waited in line to ask the cashier if anyone had found the boy. She was nervous, but I also think embarrassed. And didn’t want to cause a fuss.

One of the wilder political things in recent history is that Project 2025 publicly released a 900 page document laying out their plans to roll back 100 years of human progress and then during the campaign Republicans just said "no we're not :)" and then they won and now they're doing it all.

Where is our humanity?

If you are not aware: students only 'fall out of status' if they don't attend classes, or are not enrolled full time (e.g. Musk's original visa). Their schools lawfully control this determination. If they commit a crime, their visas can be reviewed/revoked. The process described here is extralegal.
