The argument for letting “AI” take over education is EXACTLY the same argument as for never teaching anyone to do maths, now we have calculators.

The US has spend the past 45 years, reducing education to a "financial commodity." Our schools are either place holders or job training. Administration trumps teaching. We have vast armies of precariously employed adjunct profs (low pay, no say, no security).
We are now moving to offering AI tutors.
