The Shadow Glass (2022) by @joshwinning.bsky.social is the best book I’ve read this year.

It’s a wildly underrated, emotionally grounded adventure story for anyone who grew up loving Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, or any Jim Henson-type media, but it also introduces its own wonderful lore and characters.
