"i'm glad you don't mind that. dark gaia might not mind if i decide to get married. he doesn't seem all that strict," she replied with a chuckle.

maybe, for once, maryam would do something even if dark gaia WAS opposed to it. . . . .

blue eyes widen slightly when sombra moves to wrap his arms around her. she gently moves her hands and rests them on his upper back, near his shoulders, giving soft little taps of her fingers.

". . . .. . . . i will try to be more loving towards myself," she mumbled.

maryam giggled and playfully nudged his shoulder. at least she was feeling a little bit better.

"i'm always here for you if you need me, sombra. you're very dear to me. i wouldn't want you to have a bad day."

she blinks and glances at him with a confused expression. maryam really wasn't expecting that.

"maybe after a few months- . . . . as long as you don't mind that i'm a nun for dark gaia."

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF DARK GAIA -- . . . OH. hello, dinraal!"

maryam's blush subsided slightly and she continued to mess with the hem of her dress. she glanced at him. her gaze softened when she realized his predicament.

"fear not. . . . i take comfort in your words. you're very nice to me."

i don't know who to put on my ship list. i haven't been on maryam's account for a while lately. . . . .who want her. ✨

"i don't think sombra's sister-in-law likes me very much 💧. .. . oh well."

the wolf's features reddened from the proximity and she nodded, clutching her hand at her sides as he placed his hand on her cheek. maryam nodded.

"yes. . . . and i extend the same courtesy to you."

the wolf's features brightened from her blush, gaze shifting downward as her fingers play with the hem of her baggy uniform. the veil draped into her field of vision.

". . . . . is that so," she murmured, furrowing her brows.

shaking her head and gripping the broom handle. she quietly brushes it across the floor and probably kicks up dust in the process.

"nothing is wrong, espio. . . . everything is fine."

hello, everyone! I hope you all have some wonderful holidays!! i can't wait to celebrate and be thankful for all dark gaia does for us.

. . . . . i forgot about my birthday. . ..well. i never really wanted to bring attention to it, but it has passed now and i feel at peace.

BLINKING. . . . she looks very surprised.

"thank you, sombra," she stammered, lowering her head to hide her features. . . flustered.
