Would you say fel energy is the energy of Light and Shadow? Energy cannot be created or destroyed per physics, but according to WoW, fel energy can be created also destroyed. Wouldn’t it be composed of Light and Shadow since it is “created”?

I’m thinking Velen is technically a warlock since he uses fire and brimstone and those powers are basically “of” the Almighty or the “devil”.

What exactly is disorder (or chaos) when regarding to World of Warcraft?

I’m just curious as to what disorder means when regarding to World of Warcraft.

What is disorder’s relationship to order? Is fel technically demonic arcane since chaos “comes from order”? What does disorder (fel) do? According to a source, order is the reason why worlds (or the stars) rise. What does disorder do? Is there anything disorder is responsible for? Perhaps change?

Mhhh. What is disorder (or chaos) when regarding to World of Warcraft? Is it partially the Shadow since the Void is chaotic/entropic or since chaos combines all schools? Is it the Void since chaos (when regarding to physics) is the void state preceding the universe?

Canon does also refer to the Burning Legion or Sargeras as “death incarnate”. So perhaps fel magic is the force of death (the Burning Legion)?

Demonic fel magic’s description from the Demon Soul novel fits “death”. It kills everything or brings it to a state of entropic decay as an entropic force.

One would think that fel is death to the titans or their ilk because it not only is the opposite of their lifeblood (arcane energy), but it brought the titans to a state of entropic decay. I’d like to think of fel as a death-giving force as the force of entropy and is therefore still necromantic.*

The Grimoire of the Shadowlands does refer to the Maw’s energies as chaotic and chaotic energies are fel, but chaos may not always be fel unless…fel is always chaotic. Perhaps death can be chaotic or fel, but fel isn’t always death? Meh, me think fel is death.

I known that death is differentiated from fel by the Chronicle, but not only was fel energy once defined by Metzen as death energy, but the Chronicle is written from the perspective of the titan-forged and not only establishes that fel is fueled by life, but is the opposite of a titan’s lifeblood.

Would you say warlocks are fel shaman but aren’t considered shaman for gameplay reasons? Gul’dan says fel is shamanism, but he could’ve been deceiving

Thanks for some insight. Much love. There are some sources that state warlocks have demon masters or serve the Legion — sources that establish that warlocks worship Sargeras. I wouldn’t know the difference between warlocks & shadow priests since both can not only channel shadow, but worship Sargeras

Final question for now: Are warlocks technically (fel) priests since Sargeras is the God of Fel and Flame? Are they priests since they would have to pray to Sargeras for fel power? Perhaps they’re not priests for gameplay reasons?
