We can’t control much of what happens to us, but how we respond is up to us. Take your fragments and broken shards and create something beautiful. TEAMMOLLY in action πŸ‘‡.

If you aren’t sure how/where to start, you’re in good company - no one ever is. Start anyway. We’re all learning from each other.

Some people are there for you. Others disappoint you, when they can’t or won’t be. You measure time by before and after what happened.

You are not alone.

Join us in the Obliterated Place, where we witness and honor one another’s grief. We share stories and say their names.

The Obliterated Place is where you find yourself after an event that changes everything – a diagnosis, an accident, a natural disaster, the end of a marriage or other important relationship, the death of a loved one.

You no longer recognize your life.

The future won’t be what you envisioned.

It’s impossible to believe that it’s been 5 years since Molly left this world. It simultaneously feels like yesterday and an eternity.

I put my heart into this new podcast because the only way I survive is by channeling my grief/mother love (one and the same) to help others.

Thanks to Scott Galloway, I reviewed our subscriptions - some of which I didn’t know we were paying for - and cancelled a bunch!

It took 10 minutes, saved us money, and will send a message to Trump and his greedy corporate enablers.

Donate to Rebuilding Ellen’s Life After Tragedy, organized by Chayim Frenkel Ellen Rudolph and her husband, Steve Lewis, built a quiet, happy life in Pacific … Chayim Frenkel needs your support for Rebuilding Ellen’s Life After Tragedy

Before Ellen was defrauded, her financial situation was precarious thanks to a reverse mortgage that was problematic, plus the terrible financial repercussions of the Palisades fire.

Please join me in donating if you’re able to πŸ™. You can also help by sharing. #teammolly

When Ellen returns to the Palisades in a few months, she won’t have neighbors for some time because all the nearby homes burned down. She is understandably anxious.

Our synagogue, Kehillat Israel, gave Ellen $10,000. Our wonderul cantor created a GoFundMe to raise the remaining $28,000 that was stolen.

Ellen is in her 70’s with two adult daughters who live out-of-state. Her insurer is pressuring her to move back although repairs & remediation are incomplete.

Ellen was overwhelmed by the full-time job that is dealing with insurance and a thousand details post-fire, while nursing her life partner and husband.

Steve died a few months later, leaving Ellen alone in the apartment. At her most vulnerable, Ellen was defrauded and lost $38,000.

Our friend and neighbor, Ellen, lost so much in the past year. Shortly after the Palisades fire, Ellen’s husband, Steve, was diagnosed with lung cancer. They were living in a temporary apartment. Ellen became Steve’s caregiver, while trying to put their lives back together πŸ‘‡.

Timeline: How the Shooting of Alex Jeffrey Pretti Unfolded (Gift Article) A moment-by-moment analysis of video from the scene shows that Mr. Pretti was already restrained when fatal shots were fired, which appears to contradict the federal government’s account of the event.

Law enforcement officers are trained to de-escalate conflict. These guys seem to be doing the exact opposite.

25% through this hellscape & we’re on edge, holding our collective breath. The US President is NOT OK. There are no guardrails. Only bad actors and enablers.

The greatest country in the world is committing suicide before our eyes. Millions of lives hang in the balance.

It’s utterly terrifying.
