These are the leaders of BC’s rehab and recovery work.

Brain injuries, illness, accidents, any of these can offset your and your family’s life entirely.

We’re working with them to ensure the supports are in place, so that the resources you need aren’t out of reach.

Barriers removed for couples in B.C. receiving disability assistance Starting Dec. 1, 2025, couples where both members receive disability assistance will receive the same support allowance as they would if they were two single people.

Proud to say that we are continuing our work towards disability justice by removing the spousal cap for couples where both partners are on PWD. As of December 1st, couples will receive the same disability benefit as two single individuals. This change will benefit thousands of households across BC.

Not just Japan and South Korea, but Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and more.

We’re working to put our forest products at the centre of economies across the globe. To strengthen established relationships, and to find new ones.

A global customer base.

Metis Nation plays a major role across BC, and in my home of Langford-Highlands. Where Minister Harriott advocates for the wellbeing of the Nation.

At convention, USW leaders and I brought out a resolution to Defend Forestry & Build a Resilient Future for BC. Delegates backed it - a huge show of support.

Honoured to stand with Brian O’Rourke, USW President from the North, fighting for workers.

If you live near Burns Lake, this is your chance to tell us what matters most, when it comes to your forests.

FLPs are a pathway for community-led forests. Where working people, families, and First Nations, guide the future of their community.

Too reliant on the US. Too dependent on one trade partner. And we’re feeling the consequences.

Diversification is a need. We can be a powerhouse in the global market, we just need to make the first move.

This trade mission is a step toward strengthening BC forestry.

We’re celebrating Korean Heritage Month here in the people’s house.

The diversity of BC courses through every aspect of our lives. It defines us, it supports us.

Together let’s recognize the foundational role Korean BCers play in our lives, our culture, our economy.

We have the resources the world needs, the ports to move them, and workers to get big projects built.

It was the largest BC forestry trade mission to-date. And we’re leaving with some concrete achievements.

The last leg, as we traveled South Korea, brought real opportunities for our forest sector to expand its customer base and find new applications, opportunities.

South Korea needs to build 2.7 million homes in 5 years. We’re going to be the ones to supply lumber to this growing sector.

Rick Doman and the FII team made this trade mission a reality. And they’re going to help us lead our next phase of diversification.

I want to congratulate my brother, Aman Singh, on his election as President of the BC NDP.

Aman has been a fighter for human rights his whole life, through his law practice and as former MLA.

He will lead our party with care, vision, and a commitment to people.

We've got a lot on the agenda for today.

Although it's the last day of convention, it's only the beginning of our work. What we decide today, determines our work into the future.

So let's finish strong, and outline the bright future we're going to bring to BC.

The Premier, defining the moment for BC.

He took the stage to outline what’s in front of us, and what we must do to overcome it. To deliver for BC, and make life better.

We have a bright future as the engine of Canada economy. Under his leadership, we’ll get there.

One big family, celebrating the life of one of our heroes: Premier John Horgan.

John was a leader and an advocate, but more so, he was a friend to all. A one of a kind man.

What an honour it was to lead our celebration of John from Langford.

Aman is exactly the kind of leader our party needs in this moment: steady, compassionate, courageous, and unafraid to roll up his sleeves and do the work.

That’s why I’m proud to stand with him, and why I’m proud to support Aman Singh for President of the BC NDP.
