I have a controversial opinion in that I didn't enjoy it after reading the book. Too many character and storyline changes.
I can't deny that the animation is superb, though.
Hope you enjoy it

Father and geek. Definitely don't imagine myself as old as I am. Loving Lego, Star Wars, Nintendo, tech, and science. Took me far too long to write this, which explains a lot.

As a former Suffolk Boy I can relate to views like this.
17.09.2025 15:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm still amazed that the DS could run it. I'm always surprised that it wasn't a 3DS game
11.09.2025 11:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I remember zooming over to the Game in Eastbourne early one morning to get a Wii at the height of its popularity, when I heard they had 5 in stock. They didn't...
I did get a bargain Lego set in the closing down sale - so not all bad.
My local Game closed recently too. Pretty much just a toy shop by the end though. Surprised it hung on for as long as it did in this age of digital purchases and Amazon.
10.09.2025 13:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'd be torkulent about using those words. I'd probably filmjam away from them
07.09.2025 07:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Here's my copy from 1987. Was the first King I read. Loved it and made me a lifelong fan. You can feel the groundwork being laid for later stories in this
05.09.2025 23:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I had to install a Windows XP VM the other day from CD - luckily it worked! Even better, I was able to use it to recover the data from a .bkf backup file that had my wife's original Sims neighbourhood files.
04.09.2025 15:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Well done! My daughter was devastated when she accidentally knocked the controller off the stand and damaged the touch screen. Thankfully was able to find a replacement digitiser for less than Β£10 so she could finish Wind Waker!
04.09.2025 06:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've got the same HOTAS - but not played for some time. Was a backer and did play quite a bit, but ultimately struggled to find the (uninterrupted) time it needs. Also, my combat skills suck! Hope you get some enjoyment out of it
12.06.2025 10:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Loved SaberWulf (on the Speccy). I think I did finish it once - but might be dreaming that!
Lunar Jetman was also a favourite.
(Oh, and hello to another 'Ade'!)
Definitely had a love/hate relationship with Horace!

May I suggest photographing butterflies instead? Behold!
19.05.2025 13:51 β π 13 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love blackbirds - easily my favourite bird!
11.04.2025 14:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We had a small lab of Archimedes at uni in the early 90's. I remember being pretty impressed with them

04.04.2025 11:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Since when does MSPaint have layers?
I am not ready for such a technical advancement
This /is/ coming from somebody that had to call the Nintendo helpline to find the sword in Ocarina of Time in the late 90's, so not really a surprise
17.03.2025 15:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Finally started playing Outer Wilds and truly tried to get as far as possible without hitting the guides, but finally caved. I really don't know how you'd work some of this out. (Not being critical, btw)
17.03.2025 15:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The older I get the *more* they get me in the feels - I guess parenthood does that to you.
I try to let my kids know it's OK to be emotionally invested in a story, although they probably think I'm weird
Baa Dum!
10.03.2025 16:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I miss my dog. Do they smell like toffee popcorn?

21.02.2025 15:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well done! 'Eating mindfully' is a great phrase.
For me, it was mainly cutting out snacks, not having second-helpings, and no alcohol on school nights.
The weight loss was gradual, but I thinks that's all for the better.
Been trying to introduce more exercise - but finding the time is hard!
Rare dinner out with family last night.
Waitress (while taking order): Any allergies?
Me: No thank you.
Yeah, there's some great music in that. I'm glad I've still got the WiiU plugged in to fire Wind Waker up occasionally.
