All I can say is I definitely wanna see more of your work / where you'll go. Just keep at it, draw the stuff YOU like and wanna draw, and people of a similar mind will see and appreciate it

Share your work because nobody else is going to draw the things you draw with your experience and perspective

Now I don't see your work and think "generic", but I can't tell you you're wrong if you feel like you're lacking in something more "you"

In the end, style is just the lens you're showing the viewer the subject through based on your tastes, and it's something that comes slowly over time

So there's two angles here:

If you're just worried about people's perception of your art: Don't

However if you're just interested in improving your art, and are listing where you think you're weak, then I totally get get. Faces/expressions are somewhere I feel immensely weak on, myself

Yeah the price and that functionality seemed cool. A bit sad it's not backlit but like, so many of the numpads I saw were expensive as hell for no reason or not entirely sure about the quality they'd be

Does it feel pretty solid? Hot-swappable switches is also a big draw (p sure it has them?)

-Everyone- gets imposter syndrome. Anybody who says they don't is probably full of shit. Professionals talk about it all the time; like, big big big name people you'd assume know wtf they're doing and have all the answers. Everyone has off days, too

No judgment for doing what you feel you need to, but the art space isn't a competition. Someone seeing your work doesn't suddenly mean they don't see someone else's, and that other artist you're worried about crowing out -wants- to see your work, too!

I'll notice problems I did in an image that nobody else bats an eye at, sees, or cares about

So don't be too down on yourself! It's not a competition or a race, and everyone's got their own unique stuff to share. There's only one you, and only one me

Well, you're doing great in the end and overcoming those struggles/considerations. All of it does become easier/quicker the more we do it

I don't pick up on "they clearly feel like they have a hard time with clothes" looking at your work; I see like, no flaws lol

Hell I wouldn't necessarily knock taking that long. I spend hours upon hours upon hours doing this stuff, and that includes hours even on sketches half the time fixing all my fuckups lol

Doing it faster just comes with practice over time, but even then some stuff just takes a long time to do

"Grass is always greener", so to speak

Hell I envy anyone that can bump out sketches easily; my skillset is toploaded (and even then only barely), so a bunch of fundamental stuff is a massive slog and takes forever just to set up

I'd much rather be in the position of being able to sketch what I want easily and then learning to color lol

I definitely do not envy trying to color in traditional media; I wouldn't be able to do a fraction of what I do if it wasn't digital lol. It allows for... a lot of mistakes and changes

But your stuff is good! Sketches are great and not all art needs to be some big colored/rendered piece
