Neues Monat, neuer Text! Dieses mal ein bisschen was anderes, nämlich eine Popculture Analyse des Videospiels SOMA. Da gäbe es noch viel mehr rauszuholen, aber ich hab mich auf Geschlecht und Körper konzentriert (und der Rezension einer speziellen Gruppe von Menschen).

They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+.

Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them.

I think about it a lot in moments like this.

Remember, no matter what some government run by a fascist says - you are who you say you are. You define yourself. No one else. The state & powerful try to dictate our bodies to control & exploit us - our labor, our energy, our lives - for themselves. But you get to choose yourself. Fuck ‘em.
