The Anne Frank Trust UK will be marking #HolocaustMemorialDay to remember all those who were murdered for who they were and to stand against prejudice and hatred today.
Last week, we were honoured to hear these important words at our Annual Lunch.

β€œLet us unite in our commitment to take action, to speak up and to ensure that the words β€œNever Forget” are a guiding light that charts a path towards a better, brighter, and more tolerant future for us all.”

Thank you to Her Majesty the Queen for her continued support. #AnneFrankLunch2025

A very important moment as candles are lit in remembrance of those lost in the Holocaust. We also light candles to remember subsequent genocides and all those affected by prejudice and hate.

We are also very grateful to have Sir Stephen Fry, Emma Barnett and Robert Rinder join us for this important event.

In the 80th anniversary year of Anne Frank’s death, when levels of anti-Jewish hatred in the UK are running at their highest level for a generation, and when Islamophobia and other forms of prejudice are also rising, Holocaust remembrance and anti-prejudice education are more important than ever.

Anne Frank was one of the 1.1 million children murdered by the Nazis for being Jewish. At the Anne Frank Trust UK, we educate young people aged 9 to 15 to learn about Anne Frank and the Holocaust, empowering them to recognise and challenge antisemitism and all forms of prejudice today.
