In a professional environment from value chain pov I guess it's fair. But for personal use it's indeed way to expensive.

If you buy the professional, than you're right. If you want to use it only for personal matters Dassault offers the Solid Makers licence for 48$ p.a. Guess that's fair.

Looks like a 3D sketch. These are really a crash garantuee if been blown up to much. I use them for some kind of "standard assmebly" in adition with equations. My expirience is better keep it simple and split in several individual. What do you think? =)

My impression is, they focused so hard on the custom integration of your own code by using the workbenches, that they simply have forgotten that it was originally supposed for CAD.

Understandable in my opinion. I'm working with CAD systems for quite a long time and really thought about using it in a professional context but it's so awkward for expirienced designers who worked with the "common" systems like SolidWorks or Inventor that I gave up.

And then turns out, it just lost a reference in the first sketch or so 🙈
