New stat: 9 out of 15 UK based young adults enjoyed A Lion's Head and would be happy to read the sequel.
I would say that makes me a mid-range author. I may not be 5 stars for everyone... But I am for the readers that count.

How does it feel to be addicted to my phone? Terrible. I want the freedom of thirty years ago while recognizing the privilege this damn thing gives me to market my books. I wouldn't have had a chance thirty years ago so I have to be grateful. But the addiction? It's a slippery slope.

I had a wonderful time selling books today. 10 books sold is a good day. One feedback that kept coming up was how much they liked the smaller book format, the larger (what I think of as normal) print and that it would be an easy book to slip in a bag and take on vacation. #booksky
