The fastest way to select cues with a matching status is to Option (Alt)-click on the cue checkbox. Use Option (Alt)-Shift-click to extend the selection.

If the Stats panel feels like too many clicks and you’re up for some memorization, use modifier keys with the Select All or Reel checkboxes:
- Shift-click for Compositions
- Option-click for Original Songs
- Cmd-click for Licensed
Combine keys to select multiple groups.

Click on a Reel title in the timeline to instantly filter by it — or click again to unfilter.

Single-clicking a timeline item highlights and scrolls to the corresponding cue row, while a double-click opens it in the Cue Details view.

A small yet handy feature: Quickly see which session instrumentation tags are scheduled for recording.

Setting instrumentation difficulty and priority is useful for preparing recording orders. Red indicates high priority, and more dots mean greater difficulty and longer recording time.

Option (Alt)-click the New Version button to skip the dialog and instantly add a version with automatic values for Cue Version, Status, Written to Picture, and Version Timecodes. Perfect for when no tweaks are needed. More version customization available under User Settings!

Hold Shift while pressing Enter in a timecode field to shift IN, OUT, and Seq. Start by the same amount, preserving the duration. This works with updated timecodes or offsets (+/-), as shown in the add/subtract video.

You can easily add and subtract time in most timecode fields in CueDB. Separators such as dots, colons, or semicolons are supported, and leading zeros are optional.
+24 to add 24 frames
-1.0 to subtract 1 sec
+1.0.0 to add 1 min
-1.1.0.0 to subtract 1 h and 1 min

Just like selecting cues, you can filter them directly from the stats panel by clicking on category titles. Shift-click to extend your selection. Clear all filters via ”Clear Filters” in the Filter menu or with Ctrl + Shift + X.
