All that said, I have hope for Myron Reed still. I thought he looked good in that Slater match, and I haven't quite figured out if his quieter disposition than his partners is because he's got something going on there (in an interesting way) or he might just be boring and bland. But we'll see!

CRU look notably better and I saw a lot of people saying this. It was quite glaring.
completely uninteresting in how they think about or approach pro wrestling.
Everything about the gimmick is lazy shite.
So I needed to see SOMETHING in their in-ring to give me a modicum of hope. They were actually worse than my worst fears. I was surprised how off the pace they were.
- And now for ..... The Rascals....
What can I say. Every instinct I had about what these guys would be despite having not kept up with them in five years plus, was sadly correct.
Their in character promos/skits were awful. Their out of character sit-down with Renee exposed them as....
- Mox promo was like mid-range for him, which is still pretty much better than anyone else.
- Every Darby match feels like an event now. It's an amazing achievement. He wrestles just infrequently enough, and does something insane enough in every match to make them all feel like "a thing".
Collision thoughts (still have to watch the main).
- Very impressed with Ciampa's effort. So much so I'm willing to forgive the "6,7". He must never even dream of doing it again. A reminder that behind the gimmick he's a fucking dork.
- Okada vs. Priest was everything I wanted it to be.
We found a new bakery that sells giant mikados, jammie dodgers and bourbon creams. Sugar cube for size perspective.
