I'm in the Pacific Northwest; gas prices have been slowly decreasing here at least since the summer. Of course oil prices often tumble when economic growth slows, and I suspect that the big oil companies jacked up gasoline prices before the 2024 election because they favor republicans.

Having said that, groceries, healthcare, education & housing costs are steadily getting worse. Jobs are becoming scarce. The wealthy are sucking up all the oxygen from this economy.
