I see artists trade their patreon and ko-fi links all the time and it seems sometimes like it's only other artists and a handful of regular followers that pass those round.

It really does help. Previous clients saying on comm ads they had a good experience also helps a lot too.

Fun game to watch other people play, absolutely. Put the controller in my hands and the skill plateau hits fast and hard and it stops being fun. Nothing wrong with the game I don't think- just not a fit for some people.

Nightreign is still fun and better yet it's been out long enough that I can get into a random game and 90% of the time at least one teammate, if not both, already has a route planned out and I can just turn my brain off and mash things.
