Kemi Badenoch has said she does not believe one in four people are disabled.

I don’t believe Kemi Badenoch is a decent human being and capable politician.

We’ve all got our views, Kemi!

The Labour welfare rebels are right. This hounding of disabled people will damage the party for years to come | Frances Ryan Opposition is mounting and No 10 is preparing a raft of concessions. But whatever happens next, the moral stain will remain, says Guardian columnist Frances Ryan

β€œIf the bill does go ahead, the division lobby will shine a light not simply on the chasms in the Labour party, but between compassion and careerism, bravery and betrayal.”

Labour’s benefit cuts will have β€˜devastating’ impact on disabled women, say charities Organisations say planned four-point rule will not properly take into account menstruation and other hygiene needs

The government’s disability cuts could breach equality law due to their β€œdevastating” impact on women’s dignity, experts warn.Β

The new rules won’t take into account menstruation or some women’s extra toilet needs.Β

Higher thresholds for personal independence payments, which are expected to save Β£5bn and reduce claims by around 800,000 by 2030, are causing panic in vulnerable households. Among the latest warnings is one from charities that disabled women will lose out due to their higher personal care needs, including coping with menstruation, not being taken into account. Yet so far, the only concession from ministers has been an extension in the transition period for those losing benefits.

Good to see today’s Guardian Editorial mention my story that women will lose out under the new PIP rules.

If a system leaves women sitting in her bloodied underwear because she can no longer pay the care worker that used to help her get to the toilet, it is one no MP should be backing.

Wrong. Listen to the poor, sick, disabled; your backbenchers.

Govt can cut corporate welfare, tax the rich. HMRC didn't collect Β£46.8bn of taxes last yr.

We are all one illness/accident away from needing benefits
