the continuity discrepancies unrelated to Terrako's time-traveling mean that Age of Calamity is wholly non-canon and is not a possible alternate timeline like it is purported to be
Terrako didn't go into some alternate universe where things happened differently though, it explicitly traveled back in time to before the Great Calamity. time-travel does not affect events prior to the point of arrival

it's been eight years since Breath of the Wild's release on March 3rd, 2017.
I would not have entered the roleplay hobby, met the people that I have, were it not for Breath of the Wild—and those people are why I'm still alive. they saved my life.
