Yeah, unfortunately we are the cautionary tale for the rest of the world. At least others are learning from our stupidity. 🤷‍♀️

I used my work's newspaper database to research "tapping him on." The earliest I found the phrase was 1892 in the Kalamazoo Gazette. It is a horse training reference. Tapping a horse's legs to desensitize him to touch.

#NewGirl is my comfort show. I watched it after my divorce, after my miscarriage, and during both Trump terms.

It's interesting that they didn't leave him alone with the Senator because they didn't want him actually talking. I bet they threatened him if he dared to raise an alarm.
