Show a complete misunderstanding of how the internet and encryption works. Add more government-invasive surveillance online. Put the lives of children and the livelihoods of adults at risk. Will lead to mass censorship of legal content online and a chilling effect on the internet similar in effect to the UK Online Safety Act Are extremely unpopular and don't protect kids. Enable predators to take advantage of the established online systems to prey on children, especially those in power. Please consider rescheduling the hearing to properly assess the bills within.
