Now we again both have jobs and I have no searching to do. My summer BFF Jenna Bush Hager is only on tv for one hour. I think it’s finally time for the beach 🌊♥️

I finally got hired for a second job, but then TJ was wrongfully terminated (long story), so I had to help his job search

Instead of taking a school-related summer job, I wanted a job where I didn’t work with kids. The universe didn’t want that for me and I was unemployed but searching for jobs all of June and July

Today has been enh, but MTV Classic has played Keep Ya Head Up, No Sleep Til’ Brooklyn and Doowhatchulike. Soooo, I’m fine 🙂

REMEMBER: DISSENT IS PATRIOTIC.

My Nigerian husband who was not educated about European history didn’t know much about WWII or how bad it got. So we watched Schindler’s List. Now we’re watching Ten Commandments for a different epic

From what I’d heard about fb marketplace, I thought you posted something and it sold. Not so. At least not so for antique bed frames that have been in your family for three generations…

Just walked down to the pitch black basement of my building to get my laundry. As I was unlocking the door, my brain thought it would be fun to imagine walking into the laundry room to see a giant clown. Horrifying thoughts = making laundry fun!

Today is the first day the huz and I are home at the same time to pack together. Can’t say he loves the Devo deep cuts as much as I, but he likes my dancing!

Another note on parties: this week my psychiatrist said “I very much think your depression is in remission.” That, of course, made me cry happy tears, which are flowing again as I type this. Gotta celebrate the happy with a party! 💖

Another point for parties: I have a grill and a space to grill. It’s a tiny grill but it’s quality and I have all the necessary accessories. I don’t know exactly how to grill (just kind of) but c’mon over and impart your expertise! 💛

Still packing but I’m getting excited for the new place, which is much bigger. We have a sunroom! 💛 I hope this means going back to throwing parties. I miss parties! Come to my parties!

I decided I didn’t have to keep any “you should read that” books. Good books but I don’t even read books I want to. The Salvation Army on Devon is getting my archive
