Reading Rainbow Returns With New Host and Celebrity Guest Stars Reading Rainbow is back after almost 20 years! The beloved children's TV program — which ran for 26 years before wrapping in 2006 — is celebrated for fostering childhood reading and literacy.

OMG! Mychal did it. Anyone who first caught this wonderful human gaining an audience on TikTok knew there was something special happening. What an incredible journey and story. Promoting reading and libraries is so damn important right now, and I can't think of a better ambassador.

I also have no nostalgia for the road to fascism, which is a trap I think a lot of liberal and progressive folks are falling into—romanticizing the conditions that preceded this moment of acceleration. The path that led to this mess is not the way out.

I just realized CROCHETERS were left out of this meme. Def need the Crocheters they make the cool granny squares and all the round shapes I 💗 so much😇 There's a curvature to crochet that I can't achieve with my knitting🧶

I forget how freakin long it takes to wash & "dry" the clothes in these energy efficient machines As I still gotta hang clothes to dry fresh from the dryer😐
Anyways, I have the 3rd batch in the dryer now & that's it for tonight. Tomorrow is 2-3 more loads depending on how much I put in each load🤷🏻‍♀️
