job interview got rescheduled which...
in another era i would just shrug off but in this current era i'm like, welp, that's another job i'm not getting.

it's not a great attitude, i'll concede that, and shit happens. but it's been a long haul and i am discouraged.

also i am not alone. i know.

earlier today i saw something comparing AI to cigarettes -- they're selling it to us, HARD, while knowing it's bad for us and filling it with toxics and... yeah, i'm here for it and look forward to bumping the ad remix projects with abandon. gimme the ad remixes.

If a social media platform dominated by elder millennials/Gen X isn't for this purpose, then I have no clue what it's for. One cannot lament the collapse of arts verticals and ignore the arts. Like, I can't stress this enough. Share what matters to you even if the world is burning—especially then.

i enjoy the human aspects of social media but in this absurd time it exposes me to utter trash and i'm not sure that's good for me. i mean, i agree, this is a garbage take and ... do i need to see this? does it make my life better? am i learning anything? i am not, and i am now furious before 7am.

Month ten of extreme underemployment at my desk. Lost count of how many jobs I've applied for, though I can tell you that the two that seemed the most likely completely vaporized at the "we're psyched to put you to work" phase.
