@krisfreedain.com pinged me to add my opinion, but @czedwards.bsky.social has already given all the right answers here. India inks are typically thicker than regular fountain pen inks, and so better for dip without making a huge mess. Don't put them in your FP though!

Yes. It is.
But there's a difference between conversation and information.
Know it. Appreciate it.
Yes. And I haven't received this year's yet.

04.03.2024 06:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Can confirm. I got "computer glasses" 3 or 4 years ago, and it has greatly reduced headaches, neck strain, and tired eyes at the end of the day. Of course it also means that I have to cart several pair of glasses around with me when I travel.

10.11.2023 16:11 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I am perhaps not really familiar with CGI/2.0 any more, and what advantages it offers. I guess the question would be, is it possible to persuade anyone, in 2023, that CGI is still a viable approach to dynamic content?
27.10.2023 12:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Super proud to be listed as one of the contributors to the release of Apache Flink 1.18 -- flink.apache.org/2023/10/24/a...
Also, very impressed that Flink goes out of their way to acknowledge every contributor, no matter how (in my case) trivial the contribution.
And yet, this won't stop the "alternative facts" people believing what they desperately want to believe. It's just so, so discouraging.

23.10.2023 02:49 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0One SSID, one (wireless) router. (I have several wired routers, but that's obviously different.) I have a small wooden house, and so there's very little signal loss between router and the most distant target.
So, yeah, those 40+ clients are about 2/3 wireless, I would guess.
I've got 41 clients on my network right now, and several things are powered down, and the kids aren't home.

24.09.2023 18:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So far Jono's book talks about the community as a group of people with the same values, rather than the same *goals*. Businesses don't often share the *values* of volunteer communities but their goals largely overlap.
24.09.2023 18:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Companies often view "the community" as a vague external thing that they have to appease. Or at least not annoy. But actually *belonging* to the community is rarer. I'm looking for practical business-friendly ways to change this.
24.09.2023 18:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0After being involved in open source community for 25 years and writing about for almost as long I'm finally reading @jonobacon.bsky.social 's "art of community." It's interesting so far.
I also recommend Charles Vogl's "Art of community." Same title. Different book.
