Can confirm. I got "computer glasses" 3 or 4 years ago, and it has greatly reduced headaches, neck strain, and tired eyes at the end of the day. Of course it also means that I have to cart several pair of glasses around with me when I travel.

But surely that, in turn, makes him the ideal secret agent? (ok, maybe not.)

I am perhaps not really familiar with CGI/2.0 any more, and what advantages it offers. I guess the question would be, is it possible to persuade anyone, in 2023, that CGI is still a viable approach to dynamic content?

One SSID, one (wireless) router. (I have several wired routers, but that's obviously different.) I have a small wooden house, and so there's very little signal loss between router and the most distant target.

So, yeah, those 40+ clients are about 2/3 wireless, I would guess.

I've got 41 clients on my network right now, and several things are powered down, and the kids aren't home.

I have a serious email hoarding problem. I have deleted more than 100,000 email messages so far today while attending a view-only meeting. And I still have almost 50gb of email remaining.

It's an elaborate prank. Don't fall for it.

I.e. providing the users (aka customers) with valuable solutions.

So far Jono's book talks about the community as a group of people with the same values, rather than the same *goals*. Businesses don't often share the *values* of volunteer communities but their goals largely overlap.

Companies often view "the community" as a vague external thing that they have to appease. Or at least not annoy. But actually *belonging* to the community is rarer. I'm looking for practical business-friendly ways to change this.

After being involved in open source community for 25 years and writing about for almost as long I'm finally reading @jonobacon.bsky.social 's "art of community." It's interesting so far.

I also recommend Charles Vogl's "Art of community." Same title. Different book.
