Chapter 7 WIP Friday 🌊✨🧜🏻‍♂

But maybe Hj, despite not looking like him at all, kinda likes the way his tattoos highlight his skin and his piercings shine in the sunlight. And maybe the book club becomes an excuse to meet and read together in Hj's room.

and have been talking at least once a week for several months now, they have never seen each other. And Sh knows that his image does not correspond much with his way of being: tattoos and piercings on his skin usually scare away the people he's interested in.

but slowly they keep chatting more and more and the better they know eo, the more Sh likes him.

The first time they agree to meet at a cafe, Sh definitely like him. But he's also worried. Even though they work in the same company+

"Sure! That's fine with me too."

The first time they're on call, Sh discovers that Hj is not very talkative. In fact, as the club progresses, Sh mainly talks and Hj mainly listens to him. At first they only comment on the books they're reading,

Sh doesn't know who KHJ is, but it doesn't take him a minute to answer.

"Hello!" He writes. "I'm glad someone replied. When would you like to meet? So we can talk about the club, of course."

"I'm pretty busy. But we could talk on the phone.”

And for some time his pessimistic assumptions come true, and no one answers him. However a week later, when he has already assumed that no one is interested in his plan, he receives a short but exciting email in response.

"I'm in.

KHJ.”

He stops for a moment before hitting the send button. That email will reach everyone in the company. What if no one answers? What if everyone think he's boring bc he's talking about books? But before he can continue overthinking, he does it. He has nothing to lose anyway.

So he starts to type fast.

"Hello!
I thought that if anyone likes to read, we could create a small book club and share our opinions on the books we read! Something simple that doesn't require much commitment. I look forward to see if anyone is interested!

One day while he's already sitting in his desk, he looks at the little to be read book pile next to him and he comes with an idea. The other members of his company email eo all the time; they notify plans to sign up for or share their frustrating days with the rest.

He has decorated his with small plants and trinkets that remind him of his hobbies and tastes; stcr wcrs, lego sets and books.

Sh loves to read. He loves to get lost in the worlds of the books he reads, mainly fantasy novels. He's also a big romance fan, he's in love with love!

and even if he's been working there for a year, he still feels like he's an intruder.

Sh works as a graphic designer for a company in a giant office building with many desks just like his.

He's always been more of a homebody, hence why he doesn't have much of a social life or friends to go out with. He doesn't get a chance to talk much to his coworkers either, all of them seem to know eo well,
