Unlike Jasmine Crockett, who waited to the last minute to file, Kamala Harris did not seek or ask to run for President. She was the only available choice to run after Biden, predictably, proved to be not up to the task.

The problem with the misogyny argument, at least in a Texas for US Senate is that Kay Bailey Hutchinson ran against men 3 times for US Senate and won all 3 elections.

It’s always impossible to govern when you look for excuses. People have an option to either vote for the candidate that has been bought or vote for the one that hasn’t.

We have had a 2-party system since the early 1800s.

Every House member is up for re-election in 11 months. Voters will pass judgment then on whether they have failed or not.

Congress still exists and the majorities are doing exactly what their voters sent them to Washington to do. That’s how representative government works and is supposed to work.

When people collectively start voting consistently with what they say to pollsters they want politicians to do, I will believe what I read in polls.

Polls are not elections. People will say one thing but vote opposite. Pay attention to what people DO, not what they SAY.

Some people today think Jackson got a raw deal from Landis, others disagree. I wonder what the prevailing attitude toward Jackson is regarding his culpability among people that have looked into the matter.

I stand corrected.

Hamels deserves to stay on the ballot but the HOF case is borderline to me. He never sustained excellence from year to year and missed a lot of starts with injuries - not his fault, but still.

Way above average; knowing obscure Black Sox helped.
