No one on the left or right wants to give Starmer credit for it. But there was real skill and self-restraint in that performance. Everyone who’s had to deal with a powerful idiot will recognise it.

Although this wasn’t as *visibly* bad as her last one, I think this was her worst PMQs yet, in that “you agree with the government’s position but its backbenchers don’t” is basically the easiest PMQs for the leader of the opposition and she completely missed it.
