The rapid bus system in cdmx is great. Dedicated lanes, subway-like stations, and it’s only 6 pesos per ride. I loaded up my metro card with 50 pesos & it cost me like $4 cdn 🤯

I know it’s a different climate here but really it’s not an excuse. Toronto can do better with these mini-spaces. They’re what make a city feel comfy.

I love how cdmx doesn’t waste any public space. Along Ave Insurgentes which cuts diagonally thru Roma Sur city are these little triangle plazas with seating & mini playgrounds, like this one outside of my friend’s house. I swear there’s someone—adult or kid—on this swing at all times.
