WA ‘millionaires tax’ gains ground as Ferguson pledges signature Gov. Bob Ferguson and legislative Democrats reached a deal on a proposed income tax on people earning more than $1 million, clearing the way for a final vote.

Washington State looks set to tax millionaires, as the governor says he’ll sign legislation creating a new state income tax of 9.9% on people earning of over $1 million a year.

Washington currently doesn’t have a personal income tax.

I keep thinking about how in last clown class we were meant to guess what “genre” a performance of little red riding hood was in and I was like “ummm it has some tenets of new wave horror? But that seems too specific…” and it was French new wave.
