This is precisely the problem with the liberal media: no conscience, no connection with reality, no interest in the consequences of their actions. Just utter self-righteous self-justification. I'd rather have a soul than be "media literate" the way this lady means it.

Lovely to be told I'm not media literate enough to understand why it's necessary for the New York Times to call for the deaths of trans people every single day.

Being a UoA employee, I have made noises about this in the past (and there have been some small improvements along the way). But there's a massive resistance to change so the more people who complain the better.

Pink Planet By Bianca Parker Norielle was tempted to call it “the pink planet.” She’d seen lots of pink planets, of course. She’d seen lots of planets of every colour and very few of them had felt worthy of the definitive article. But no, this one, this was the pink planet. A lot of Norielle’s time was spent at the ship’s single window, gazing at the far-too-slowly passing expanse of nothing that made up most of the universe. Planets were always a welcome diversion when they came by, but the majority disappointed, not especially different to any of those preceding them. This one, though, was different. This planet was an event as she didn’t want to miss a moment of. “Sala, how pink would you say that planet is?” she asked.

When I was a kid I restarted my Leaf Green cartridge because I wanted to play as a girl (because for some reason that seemed really fun and appealing??) and one time my cousin looked over my shoulder and asked me why I was playing as a girl and I had to lie and say it was to differentiate save files

Working in a group for Rainbow Stars Unite has been lovely and certainly helped me produce something a bit faster than usual, would be awesome to try that again.

I am a pretty solitary writer most of the time. I'm faintly supersticious of sharing ideas before they feel ready, they need to live in my head for a while. But you need feedback eventually and thankfully I do know people who can give that.

It may be a vain hope, but crossing my fingers that Pokemon Gen 10 ditches the open world gimmick and goes back to a finite world full of stuff happening, instead of a huge world filled with nothing.

Maybe stop trying to kill trans people, voters don't seem to like that

All it took to create a genocidal moral panic against trans people was a few supposedly liberal outlets to turn on us (including this guy's employer!). It's nice he's unconcerned but no, the impact will be very, very bad.
